As the global COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, we are receiving feedback from online research participants that hold-in-place mandates have created an excellent environment for conducting online research. As people are confined to their homes, their screens are increasingly becoming their primary connection to the outside world. Our experience is that online response rates have improved, surveys are being completed thoughtfully, and respondents are taking the time to share their thoughts about the research process with us. While there has been some concern that invitations to participate in research activities would not be welcomed now, quite the opposite has proven true.
