Team
DRI has a team of seasoned professionals who you can trust to provide the information and insight you need to make the right decisions. To put it frankly, they have a passion for research.
DRI’s founder, Bob Domine established clear principles for our company – to provide outstanding customer service in an environment of creative problem solving. Our specialty is developing custom research solutions for our clients.
President and Founder
DRI’s roots can be traced back to 1992, when Bob created a “kids pick” toy contest for a new magazine called FamilyFun. By 1994, the Toy of the Year success story had been extended to a nationwide program of in-home edutainment software evaluation that Bob designed for FamilyPC magazine. This in-home use testing program migrated to the web by 1996, placing the young company in the position of maintaining one of the first online proprietary research panels. The work also led directly to DRI being the recipient — with its client, PC Computing — of one of the first EXPLOR Awards (EXemplary Performance and Leadership in Online Research). Proprietary panel management continues to be an important and growing part of DRI’s business. FamilyFun magazine, along with its sister publications at Disney Magazine Publishing, continues to grace the company’s client list.
Bob’s role at Digital Research now consists almost exclusively of strategic and financial management, with the day-to-day operations of business directed by Jane Mount and Michelle Aldridge.
Prior to founding DRI, Bob worked as strategic management consultant at APM, Inc. of New York, at the University of Michigan Medical Center, and at Vector Research, a Midwest-based think tank. Bob holds an MBA from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan (economics/math). His training in marketing research was almost exclusively experiential, based on his work at Michigan’s Institute for Social Research, during his undergraduate years.
