Rules and Regulations

Eligibility: Residents of the United States and Canada, who have been invited by DRI to participate in Branding Study Sweepstakes #1818, age 18 or older, are eligible to enter and receive prizes (void in Quebec). Employees of Digital Research Inc., its affiliates or subsidiaries, and members of their households or immediate families, are not eligible. Employees of RESEARCH SPONSOR, its affiliates and subsidiaries, and members of their households or immediate families are not eligible. One entry per household, no purchase necessary.

Sweepstakes Period: This Sweepstakes is open to electronic entry by completing the survey as indicated on the survey invitation. The Sweepstakes is open for entry via US Mail. The Sweepstakes is closed to entry at ENTRY DEADLINE.

How to Enter: Eligible persons will be entered automatically by completing the survey before ENTRY DEADLINE. However, completing the survey is not required to enter. You may also enter by printing your name, address, day-time telephone number, and e-mail address on a 3×5 card and mailing it to: Branding Study Sweepstakes #1818, C/O Digital Research, Inc., 201 Lafayette Center, Kennebunk, ME 04043. Entries to be delivered by US Mail must be received at DRI by the ENTRY DEADLINE.

Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received, but are estimated to be ODDS OF WINNING, as specified above.

Prize Drawing: Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries, by judges whose decisions are final. A drawing will be held within ten business days following the Sweepstakes ENTRY DEADLINE.

Notification of Winners and Prize Distribution: Prizewinners will be notified by e-mail. Winners or their legal guardians are required to return a signed Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance, by the date indicated on the Affidavit, or forfeit prize. Winners are given at least 10 business days to respond. Non-compliance with the time parameters contained therein or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable, will result in disqualification. Forfeited prizes will be awarded to alternate Sweepstakes participants selected at random. DRI decisions about winners are final. Specific merchandise prizes other than cash will be delivered via UPS or other qualified carrier. Cash prizes will be presented in US funds and in check form. Prize(s) are non-transferable. Winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any tax liabilities associated with the acceptance of prizes.

Limits of Liability and General: All entries become the exclusive property of Digital Research, Inc., and will not be acknowledged or returned. By accepting a prize, the prizewinner acknowledges having read and accepted these rules, and consents to publication of his/her name (first name and last initial) and his/her city-of-residence on an official Winners List that may be supplied to Sweepstakes participants upon request, or posted on the Digital Research, Inc. Web site, without further compensation.

Only specified prizes will be awarded. No prize substitutions will be made, except by Digital Research, Inc. in the event of prize unavailability.

Digital Research Inc., its agents, representatives and employees, will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including software and/or hardware, Internet or other malfunctions resulting either from participation in Branding Study Sweepstakes #1818 or from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

Digital Research, Inc. is not responsible for technical or computer errors, or for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, unsuccessful attempts to notify winners, postage-due or incomplete entries. Any entry that is tampered with, forged, mutilated, illegible, or submitted by any fraudulent means, or which does not comply with the Sweepstakes rules contained herein, may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Digital Research, Inc.

Digital Research, Inc. reserves the right to either suspend or cancel, at its discretion, Sweepstakes at any time in the event of a computer virus or other technical problem interferes with the security or administration of the Sweepstakes.

Decisions of Digital Research, Inc., are final on all matters of interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment of this Sweepstakes. Digital Research, Inc. reserves the right to modify, amend or supplement these Rules and Regulations at its discretion.

Winners List: For a list of winners, send a stamped, self addressed envelope, along with a written request to: “Branding Study Sweepstakes #1818, C/O Digital Research, Inc., 201 Lafayette Center, Kennebunk, ME 04043. Requests for Winners Lists must be received by the sweepstakes ENTRY DEADLINE.

Restrictions: This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All United States federal, state and local regulations apply.
