Senior Research Associate

Job Description:
The Senior Research Associate plays a leadership role in executing marketing research projects, coordinating the activities of flexible teams to deliver high quality, on time results to DRI’s clients in consumer and B2B industries, including consumer products and services, travel and tourism, and business services and technology. Specific responsibilities include project management, research design, questionnaire development, field oversight, data analysis, and reporting.

The Senior Research Associate has opportunities to advance by further developing his/her client relationships, business development skills, and analytical capabilities.

The Senior Research Associate reports to one of DRI’s Research Directors and works closely with the Research Services, Data Services, and Support Services teams.

Background and Experience
Requires 5 to 8 years of experience in the marketing research industry with at least 2 years of supplier side experience.  Experience in the following areas is essential.

1. Questionnaire design, market research project management and data analysis.
2. Strong grasp of marketing research methodologies
3. Proven track record of client relationship management
4. Proficiency with MSWord, Excel and Powerpoint
5. Strong written and oral communication skills
6. Proficiency with SPSS/Wincross output is a plus

Personal Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the desire and ability to execute exceptional quality work as well as a large volume of work.  High energy, creativity, and strong business acumen are highly desired.  The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate professional analytical skills as well as exhibit excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Education Requirements
A bachelor’s degree with a concentration in economics, psychology, sociology, mathematics, statistics or related field, advanced degree a plus.
