Job Description
The Survey Programming & Tabulation Specialist is responsible for maintaining company databases, creating analysis tables in WinCross and SPSS, managing mass email campaigns, running regular panel/respondent status reports (based on updated database content), programming online surveys using Decipher, maintaining assigned proprietary panels, and generally providing data processing support to the DRG research services team. Basic programming ability (JAVA, MySQL) and the ability to work with WordPress (to update/maintain the company websites) is a plus. The position reports directly to the company owner, though individual work assignments will require the Survey Programming & Tabulation Specialist to support all project managers.

Background and Experience
Requires a minimum of two (2) years of database management, survey programming and/or tabulation experience, preferably within the market research industry.

Experience with the following systems and programs is essential:
• MS Office Suite, especially Access and Excel
• WinCross
• SPSS

Experience with the following systems and programs is a plus:
• HTML
• PHP
• WordPress
• Decipher
• MySQL
• JAVA

Education Requirements
An associate’s degree in information processing is required. A bachelor’s degree is a plus. Training in statistical analysis and/or survey research methods is a plus.

Personal Qualifications
The successful candidate must have the ability and desire to execute detail work of exceptional quality, supporting a wide range of projects, and working professionally with a number of different managers. This position requires the concise management of a large volume of work. Time management is essential. This professional needs to be able to communicate clearly and easily – in writing, on the telephone and face-to-face. The successful candidate will have a good attitude and be a team player.
